Around
Anderson County, we have forestry mulched a pine-choked lot in Anderson, repaired washouts at a commercial yard in Belton, and graded basin slopes and set precast valve vaults at a water treatment site in Honea Path. On the Belton repair, we cut out the failed areas, laid geotextile fabric, rebuilt and compacted the slopes, lined the channel with riprap, and finished with erosion matting and heavy seeding. Read how we
cleared the Anderson lot.
Anderson County runs from the Lake Hartwell shoreline to open farmland, so jobs range from steep lake lots to pasture. On wooded lots, forestry mulching clears brush and small trees in one pass and leaves the mulch in place to hold the soil. Lots on Lake Hartwell fall under the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers shoreline rules, so check those before clearing near the water.
